SCULPTURE AND STATUARY IN CAST STONE, ORNAMENTAL PLASTER & CEMENT

The artisans at A. Thayer Smith III welcome the opportunity to produce sculpture and statuary for architectural projects, whether reproductions of existing work, new work from an artist's model or from our own designs. We have helped architects, sculptors and motivated owners to realize their vision in full scale. We are expert at producing custom molds for new work and for reproducing existing architectural ornament and sculpture, interior or exterior. We have long experience in traditional and modern materials including gypsum plaster, cast stone, glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC) and glass reinforced gypsum (GRG). For placement indoors and out, our participation will insure a sound, structurally stable installation, true to your vision.  These skills qualify us to do stable, well bonded repairs in place, where necessary.  A. Thayer Smith III has executed numerous sculpture and statuary projects. It has been our privilege to work with a diverse range of clients including churches and theaters, government buildings and private clients.
